Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday rejected the idea of ceding any territory to Russia, doubling down on his position even as US pressure grows for Kyiv to consider painful concessions, according to Associated Press.
“Undoubtedly, Russia insists for us to give up territories. We, clearly, don’t want to give up anything. That’s what we are fighting for,” Zelenskyy told reporters in a WhatsApp chat late Monday. He added that Ukraine has “no legal right” to hand over land and “no moral right either.”
