A convicted sex offender who pleaded guilty to accessing child pornography — and who has been deemed a high risk for sexual recidivism — has been sentenced to six years behind bars.

“These are exceptionally serious and vile crimes,” Judge Cameron Watson said in the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Catharines on Monday.

Lloyd Little, 40, was convicted of charges of possession of child pornography and breaching a court order.

He was given credit for the time he had spent in pretrial custody, which reduced the amount of time he has left to almost four and a half years.

His name will appear on the federal sex offender registry for life.

The judge said the abuse of his young victims is “perpetual and forever” because the images can never be removed from the internet.
