A charity that redistributes unsold food and other goods from retailers to those in need is opening a 3,000-square-foot warehouse in London thanks to a $250,000 donation.
Its leaders say the new space will allow it to triple its redistribution goals.

Lionhearts Inc. began in Kingston in 2014 and expanded into London in June 2024. It operates as a food rescue program, partnering with local stores to save food that would have been thrown out and taking it to frontline agencies for those in need.
The organization partners with more than 40 charities in the London area, including the Ark Aid Mission and the Humane Society of London and Middlesex.
Its new distribution centre will be its first in London. The group previously operated out of the Gateway Church at 890 Sarni
