FARGO — North Dakota State’s football season is over, but the Bison could celebrate a victory off the field Tuesday.
Erie, Colorado, running back Braylon Tolliver announced his commitment to NDSU just days after decommitting from Oregon State out of the reformed Pac-12 Conference. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Toliver is considered a three-star prospect and had 12 scholarship offers, six of them from FBS programs.
Toliver originally committed to Oregon State in May, but the Beavers struggled this fall, firing head coach Trent Bray in October. Bison head coach Tim Polasek interviewed for the open spot in Corvallis that eventually went to Alabama assistant coach JaMarcus Shephard. Toliver announced last week that he was decommitting from OSU.
