WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — After Tuesday's deadly stabbing at North Forsyth High in Winston-Salem, students were bused from campus to Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum to reunify with their parents.

WFMY News 2 was at Joel Coliseum on Tuesday evening to speak with parents and students about the chaotic situation.

Several parents and students told our crews that the incident was something they could have seen coming. One student said fights like this happen often in the bathrooms at North Forsyth. Tuesday's just happened to turn deadly.

One parent told WFMY News 2 that she didn't want to send her son back to North Forsyth High after the incident.
