COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The University of South Carolina’s College of Engineering and Computing hosted their Nuclear Summit Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The event brings together federal, state, and industry leaders to chart how nuclear energy can drive the next wave of economic, workforce, and technological growth.
Officials say this year’s summit will celebrate South Carolina’s emergence as a proving ground for America’s next nuclear era, which will be anchored by the VC Summer site.
This was the university’s second year hosting the nuclear summit.
