Everleigh LaBrant is glowing over her new brand.

The 12-year-old influencer—who launched bev.skin , a skincare brand she developed for kids, on Dec. 9—defended her company from those concerned the skincare might be damaging for children, explaining the inspiration for the brand came from her own experiences.

“When I hit around 10/11 | wanted to go to Sephora with my mom,” Everleigh responded to a fan in a comment she posted to Instagram Stories Dec. 8. “Naturally wanting to buy and use all the skin care products that she was, just because it was fun. All my friends were doing the same.”
