PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A new fire station will soon be opening in Pueblo.

Fire Station No. 6 will be located on Victory Lane near East 4th Street on the east side of Pueblo.

The City of Pueblo said the grand opening for the fire station is scheduled for Friday at 1:30 p.m., and there will be an open house, ceremony and station tours.

This is the last of three fire stations the City of Pueblo planned to open this year and the 11th total fire station in the city.

The City said the new stations provide firefighters with healthier living conditions, updated equipment, improved safety and added training facilities.
