LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — We have hit them and sometimes they hit back. Potholes across Little Rock can be a driver's biggest headache.
THV11 has learned there were more than 2,000 pothole complaints with the city this year and with winter around the corner, we dug into records to see if the millions of dollars allotted for road repairs were completed.
It's a sound every driver dreads, a bump in the road from hitting a pothole. In the Little Rock Metro more than half of major roads are rated in poor or mediocre condition, according to Tripnet.
We called Eric Petty, Little Rock's Public Works Operational Manager, to see if road repairs are falling through the cracks.
After last winter, crews used nearly 300,000 pounds of material to fill potholes ... something we may see again this winter.
