Dec 9 (Reuters) – Indonesia’s trade deal with the United States is in danger of collapsing, with U.S. trade representative Jamieson Greer believing Jakarta is “backtracking” on several commitments it made, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing unnamed sources.
Indonesian officials told Greer that Jakarta cannot agree to some binding commitments in the trade deal, the FT added.
Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
