LANESBORO, Minn. — The City of Lanesboro is calling on residents to fill several volunteer positions on city boards and commissions.

This initiative aims to engage community members in shaping Lanesboro's future, with appointments made by the City Council.

Openings are available on the Lanesboro Public Utility Commission, Lanesboro Heritage Preservation Commission, Lanesboro Public Library Board, and Lanesboro Park Board. Each role has a term starting in January 2026, with varying lengths.

Incumbents Mary Junko-Isle and Gwen Harmon on the Public Library Board and Samantha Hareldson and Steve Harris on the Park Board have expressed interest in continuing their service.
