ORLANDO, Fla. – When you have talented and controllable starting pitching like the Marlins, it’s no surprise to be the subject of trade rumors. As I previously mentioned in last month’s Reddit AMA , the Marlins aren't actively trying to trade right-handers Sandy Alcantara or Edward Cabrera, two of the more popular names in the rumor mill over the past year, but it’s part of president of baseball operations Peter Bendix’s gig to listen on offers.
It doesn’t stop there. Clubs are also inquiring about Miami’s other starters. While an organization can never have enough starting pitching, the Marlins could use their depth to receive impactful position players in return.
