PETERS TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
Peters Township EMS announced Tuesday that it will part ways with an ambulance service that has aided the community for over six decades.

"While we are saddened to see this chapter come to a close, VFW Post 764 fully respects the Council’s decision," the post said. "Together, we built a lifesaving service from the ground up, created by the people of Peters Township, for the people of Peters Township."
