AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A key step in the federal permitting process has temporarily stalled Augusta’s planned zipline project, after Georgia’s State Historic Preservation Department ruled the challenge course could negatively affect the historic bridge it would be built on.
City officials say they are now working with the Army Corps of Engineers to resolve the concern and move forward on the project.
