The Kingman High School girls basketball team looked for their fourth straight win of the regular season as they hosted their cross-town opponent Kingman Academy Monday evening. Unfortunately for the Lady Bulldogs, they fell short, losing their first game of the season, 41-27.
Both teams learned quickly that this matchup would be scrappy and a hard fought battle. The beginning of the game started off very close. Kingman proved they were a different team compared to last season as they took a first quarter lead, 11-7. Kailey Siyuja scored seven of her nine points in the first quarter for Kingman.
