A 21-year-old Cape Cod man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

Police in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, received multiple 911 calls reporting the crash around 1:17 p.m. Officers responded to Highbank Road near Coveview Drive, finding the vehicle overturned in the woods and engulfed in flames.

The driver was still inside the vehicle when police arrived, with officers unable to put the fire out. Firefighters arrived a short time later, but the man succumbed to his injuries, police said.

The name of the victim, who is from Yarmouth, was not released Tuesday.

No one else was in the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
