LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. —
Laurens County Council has approved several ordinances that promise economic growth, with two major plans discussed during Monday's council meeting.
Project IPE is expected to invest $93 million and create 126 jobs in the county, with the company buying the former Michelin distribution center in the
Council also approved a plan called Project Floyd, which includes a $63 million investment and will create 15 jobs in the Hunter Industrial Park, which is in Laurens.
