TELL CITY – It took about 16 minutes for the Washington Hatchets to shake off the long drive that may have led to just 20 first-half points and the cold shooting start against Tell City (0-3) on Tuesday. However, after they warmed up with 43 points in the second half, they easily secured the PAC victory, 63-36 and came home 2-2 for the young season.
WHS put three players in double figures, with Cordell Turner getting 15points, 14 from Brody Isza and 13 from Cooper Wright to help deliver coach Bo Burkhart his second win of his career.
