GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County employees will see a bump in their paychecks. The Board of Commissioners approved a 4% salary adjustment for eligible employees on Tuesday.
County officials said the pay increase aims to retain workers and ease inflation pressures on their employees. They are also hoping it helps recruitment.
The change raises the starting pay and increases the pay ranges for the current salary structure and the public safety step-structured plans. The market adjustment will be retroactive to Oct. 25, officials said.
