Hyderabad: South Central Railway has announced a series of special trains from Hyderabad to clear the Christmas and New Year rush, centring operations on the city’s Charlapalli terminal.

The services will primarily connect Hyderabad with Kakinada, Tirupati and Pandharpur, offering additional options for festive season travellers.

Hyderabad–Kakinada specials

A special train (No. 07196) will run from Hyderabad (Charlapalli) to Kakinada between December 24 and 30. It will operate on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, departing Charlapalli at 7.30 pm and reaching Kakinada at 9.00 am the following day.

In the return direction, train No. 07195 will run from Kakinada to Hyderabad (Charlapalli) from December 28 to 31. This service will operate on Sundays and Wednesdays, leaving Kakinada at 7.50 pm and
