After fleeing to Thailand, following the deadly fire at their ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub in Goa , owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra remain at large. The brothers, however, can be brought back to face justice under the 1982 India-Thailand Extradition Arrangement, which provides a legal framework for bringing back fugitives involved in serious offences, including transnational crimes and terrorism.

On December 7, just hours after the deadly blaze broke out at the popular nightclub at Arpora beach that claimed 25 lives, the Luthra brothers fled to Phuket from Delhi aboard an IndiGo flight.
