SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Bees may relocate hives to get better resources or because they’ve outgrown their space, but The Hive in Bowling Green is expanding, as they are set to open their newest location in Allen County in 2026.
Bowling Green program director Grace Hagan says there aren’t many resources for young adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and this is a way they can help the smaller communities in our area.
“Most of us, we get to choose what we do, whether you go into the workforce or you go to college or start a trade… and that’s not an option for a lot of people with disabilities, and so being able to bring that into Scottsville to really provide, again, community for individuals who, a lot of times, would end up sitting at home by themselves with probably just a
