HAMILTON, Texas — The Hamilton Bulldogs are headed back to the state semifinals for the second straight year, driven by a senior class determined to cement its place in program history.
There’s a popular saying around Hamilton — “Teams to remember play in December” — a motto that players and coaches say has fueled their postseason run.
“Yeah that saying is something our teachers up at the school started talking about. They got all the sweatshirts made,” head coach Ryan Marwitz said. “It's fun to throw around out there but to remember these kids, well last year's team had the best record in the school with 14 wins. And now these guys can match that with two more wins. They can also take one more step, playing for a state championship. So they can punch their ticket to being remembered. Th
