Netflix is landing a huge success with one of its non-English speaking franchises as the year gets ready to close out. As Hollywood is still seeing various successes with the monster genre, one of the franchises with a movie sequel in 2025 has just debuted their latest installment.

Released on December 1, Troll 2 has already emerged as a global hit for Netflix, as it is currently the #1 non-English speaking film for the massive streaming service. However, as the sequel gained momentum for the week of December 1 - December 7, 2025, the first film is also surging in the streaming charts.
