Lamar Wilkerson hit a school record 10 three-pointers and scored 44 points as Indiana beat Penn State 113-72 on Tuesday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
Wilkerson hit 16 of his 22 field goal attempts, including going 10-15 from three.
"It never crossed my mind actually," Wilkerson said. "We lost the last two, so we were coming as a team, collective, trying to get back to the way we was playing. The ball was just going in."
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Hoosiers. They improve to 8-2.
"He's that level of a shooter," Indiana head coach Darian DeVries said. "He's not going to do 44 every night. He has that confidence. He puts in the work every day."
It was fun to see him kind of get loose and kind of showcase all that work he puts in.
