Firefighters were on the scene Tuesday night of a blaze in northern York County that could be seen for several miles.
Multiple departments were dispatched to the early evening blaze in the 500 block of Fishing Creek Road in Fairview Township.
A second alarm was called in around 5:30 p.m.
Dispatchers said the home was unoccupied.
A post from Central Pa. Fire Wire, using an image taken by a camera at Fishing Creek, showed a fully developed blaze.
The residence on fire was located in a wooded area off the road, and smoke could be seen pouring out of the windows.
Thick smoke was causing limited visibility in the area.
As of 9:45 p.m., several fire crews are still at the scene.
