Bengaluru: Following the implementation of a social media ban for users aged under 16 in Australia, experts say the effectiveness of such a law in India remains debatable. Efforts are already under way in India to adopt a bottom-up approach to address tech addiction. In the past four months, over 5,000 parents convened online to discuss how to communicate with their children in a non-judgmental, non-threatening way, and enable a balanced use of technology. "This parent support group that we run has taken place online in the past four months.
