NFL Power Rankings: Broncos' fall in rankings aligns with how many doubters feel

The Denver Broncos are 11-2 and have won 10 games in a row. Their two losses this season are by a combined four points. Yet, the team is getting little respect in terms of being a serious Super Bowl contender.

The Broncos had moved all the way up to No. 2 in the power rankings done weekly by Vinnie Iyer of The Sporting News , but despite a 24-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, they dropped two spots. In his most recent rankings, the Broncos dropped two spots to No. 4.

"The Broncos didn't need to do much to take down the lifeless Raiders coming off a Week 13 marathon at Washington. Bo Nix was in full control of the game without a comeback for a change", wrote Iyer.
