Onondaga, N.Y. - More than 75 people packed Onondaga Town Hall Tuesday night to give their input on a huge residential community proposed due to the Micron Technology semiconductor manufacturing project.
Developers from Stoneridge Residential Development want to build a 436-unit mixed residential community on 92 acres off Ball Road in the town of Onondaga. It will include a mix of apartments, townhomes and single-family homes, developers said Tuesday night.
Many at the town hall expressed worries over the impact on the environment, property values and quality of life. They also questioned building housing nearly 20 miles from the massive factory project in Clay.
