Despite falling 31-29 to the Tennessee Titans, the Cleveland Browns have named Shedeur Sanders their starting quarterback for the rest of the season.
In his third start of the season, the rookie fifth-round pick threw for 364 yards with three touchdowns and an interception in his most productive game of his young career. He also led the Browns with 29 rushing yards and another score.
Sanders began the season buried beneath Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel on the Browns depth chart, but the Browns trading Flacco to Cincinnati and Gabriel suffering a concussion in Week 11 gave Sanders an opportunity to start that head coach Kevin Stefanski said he’s running with.
