SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - With Christmas around the corner, one local tree farm says it is seeing lots of green--and not just the fresh trees, wreaths and ornaments.

Owner of Yule Log Cabin, Joannie Smith, said this season is shaping up to be one of their strongest yet.

The tree farm is in the middle of its busy tree and wreath season, and customers continue to show up in growing numbers each year.

She said visitors can browse more than 185 decorated trees, shop for ornaments and pick out fresh Christmas trees and wreaths as the farm heads into its peak weeks.

Smith said it is her favorite time of year.

“I’ve seen generations of people come through here. Now, kids that were kids are bringing their children out, and it’s really, really pretty fun,” she said. “The best part, I think, is
