Graphite India Ltd (GIL) on Tuesday said it has signed an exclusive distribution and commercial partnership agreement with Spain-based specialty chemicals firm Kivoro. The deal makes GIL the sole distributor of Kivoro’s graphene-based Heat Transfer Additive (HTA) in India, aimed at corrugated paperboard manufacturers.

The companies said the collaboration will leverage Graphite India’s industry presence and customer network to accelerate adoption of advanced thermal additives across corrugated production lines nationwide.

Kivoro’s proprietary HTA is designed to improve heat-transfer efficiency in corrugator plants, enabling higher machine speeds, lower steam consumption, improved board quality and cost savings.
