SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - South Dakota had an incredible start to the season.
Last year they finished with an 11-20 record.
They started this season with 7 wins in a row.
Some games turning out to be dominant wins while others came down to the final shot.
The Yotes have lost two out of their last three games, most recently falling to Eastern Washington 67-63.
The Eagles finished with more points in the paint and less turnovers.
Carrie Eighmey, USD women’s basketball coach said, “That’s exactly the value of something like this. We’re gonna see some really good post players, really good size in the summit so yeah this definitely exposes what we need to work on and like you said it’ll definitely help us prepare for the games we have coming up.”
