SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - An Iowa coach will be entering the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame.
Former Northwestern football coach Larry Korver.
The induction occurring Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
Just thirty years after his time with the Red Raiders.
Bub led Northwestern from 1967 to 1994.
Where he gathered a 212-77-6 record, and two NAIA Championships.
But when asked about those accolades, Coach Korver was more proud of the players he coached.
Larry Korver, former Northwestern football coach said, “As I look back at why I coached, I coached for the young men and really to see them become successful in their endeavors. Successful as husbands, successful as fathers. So this is why I I really want to thank everybody.”
