United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville kicked off the holiday season with a joyful family celebration on Tuesday night.

The event was filled with crafts, cookie decorating, photos with Santa, and a surprise visit from Huntsville Havoc players. It was a night designed to give families time to relax and connect with the staff who support them year-round.

"It's very important for families to have social interaction and as you will be able to see families are having fun and meeting other families," said Stephanie Wright, UCP Family Service Director.

For newcomer Tiana Lee and her son, this was their first Christmas celebration. They moved to Huntsville a few months ago from the Middle East and were thrilled with the inclusive playground, which was perfect for her son and his new friends.
