OTTAWA — The New Jersey Devils snapped a five-game losing streak on Tuesday with a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators.
Jakob Markstrom, who stopped 34 shots, made a number of saves in the final minutes to secure the victory.
Tied 3-3 midway through the third period, the Devils (17-12-1) regained the lead with just over seven minutes remaining. Arseny Gritsyuk fed Cody Glass for his fifth goal of the season. Glass beat Linus Ullmark with a wrist shot.
New Jersey took the lead four minutes into the second on a Jordan Spence giveaway allowing Paul Cotter to break in alone and tuck a backhand shot past Ullmark, who finished with 28 saves.
