Jaipur: Four people died, and 27 others suffered injuries when a bus smashed head-on into a truck on the Jaipur-Bikaner National Highway in Rajasthan's Sikar district Tuesday night.
The sleeper bus, heading from Bikaner to Jaipur, collided violently with the oncoming truck.
Police reported four fatalities, with 15 injured admitted to Sikar district hospital and 13 receiving initial treatment at Fatehgarh. One critically injured passenger, transferred from Sikar to SMS Hospital in Jaipur, succumbed during care.
The passengers, a group returning from Gujarat after visiting Jammu and Kashmir, faced the tragedy en route.
