Kendyl Stoner and Ainsley Green on Tuesday combined for 36 points, lifting James Buchanan girls basketball to a 57-35 win over Boiling Springs.

Stoner led the game with 19 points, while Green contributed 17 points for the Rockets. Kyleigh Stoner added nine points.

James Buchanan’s defense kept Boiling Springs bottled up throughout the game, as the Rockets led the Bubblers 26-11 at halftime.

James Buchanan held every Bubbler to under 10 points on the night. Gillian Mandel was Boiling Springs’ top scorer with eight points. Willa Yocum, MaKayla Labuda, and Evelyn Wiendenmayer each scored six points.
