Air India, on Tuesday, rolled out a set of customer-centric initiatives to reduce passenger inconvenience during the upcoming fog season, a period that typically affects flight operations in northern India. The airline said it is coordinating closely with all stakeholders and has put multiple operational measures in place across its network.

Northern India, including Air India’s main hub at Delhi, experiences low visibility due to dense fog, which can disrupt flight schedules and cause knock-on effects across the network. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has designated December 10, 2025, to February 10, 2026, as the official fog window for this season.
