Bernalillo County is asking for the public’s help as it narrows down its search for artists who will create panels for a COVID-19 memorial.

Albuquerque residents Eleanor Bravo and Janet Nuñez del Prado spearheaded the project to build a memorial honoring their loved ones and others who died from coronavirus disease. The memorial will be built on an acre of state trust land near the Mesa del Sol Regional Sports Complex.
