More than four years after the murder of his wife on Diwali, the Chandigarh Police on Monday arrested her husband, a Punjab University professor, whom the police suspected to be the murderer right from the very beginning, following forensic psychological tests, including Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature (BEOS) profiling - a non-invasive forensic technique using EEG to detect if a person has experiential knowledge of a crime by analysing their brainwave patterns - indicating he had experiential knowledge of the crime.
