CHICO, Calif. - The City of Chico is actively seeking the input of the local community for its Downtown Chico Revitalization Project.
An open house began on Monday, marking the first of a three-day event. The open house is a continuation of efforts that started with previous workshops that were held in May and in August.
The goal of the workshop is to allow the public to engage with city staff and planners on the project, asking questions and sharing ideas.
Officials say the project seeks to transform downtown streets and public spaces to better serve current and future needs for residents. Key improvements include new bicycle infrastructure, enhanced sidewalks, and safer crosswalks.
