Next Monday, we will celebrate the 234th anniversary of the Bill of Rights. Several years ago, I had the opportunity to take a tour in Washington, D.C. The guide stated his favorite Founding Father was George Mason. George had refused to sign the original Constitution because, at that point, it did not have a Bill of Rights. Mason spent the last years of his life fighting to ensure the Constitution would guarantee the rights of the people.
