The Rockford area got some high-intensity high school volleyball this fall season, with two teams advancing all the way to the state tournament, and plenty of stars stepping up their play throughout.

Stockton finished second at state in Class 1A and, the Blackhawks have a lot coming back, and will be looking for another run. Rockford Christian took fourth in 2A, led by star front-liner Maddie Anspaugh, who led the way for the Rockford contingent by making the Illinois Volleyball Coaches Association All-State team.
