New Delhi: Lotus has introduced a plug-in hybrid version of the Eletre SUV in China, called the ‘Lotus for Me’. This comes a year after the company stepped back from its earlier goal of selling only electric cars by 2028. The Eletre PHEV will be shown to the public in January and is expected to go on sale in global markets in early 2026.

Range and charging times have also improved, thanks to a larger battery and faster charging support.
