Suffolk is building new bridges with one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.

A senior delegation from the Indian High Commission visited the county on Friday, November 14, 2025, to explore trade opportunities and strengthen international business ties.

Hosted by the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, the visit was part of the Suffolk and India: Strengthening Global Ties event, designed to highlight the county’s role in international trade and innovation.

John Dugmore, chief executive of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, said: "Hosting the Indian High Commission in Suffolk was a privilege and a clear signal of our shared ambition to strengthen international trade links.
