"Blustery" weather is set to continue as Storm Bram lingers. The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for Merseyside, which was in place from midday on Tuesday, December 9 and 6am on Wednesday, December 10.

In today's forecast, meteorologists said it is set to be a "much brighter day with sunny spells" in the North West and scattering showers. The Met Office added it will stay "quite blustery".

Three yellow weather warnings for wind are active until Wednesday evening covering the Shetland Islands, Central, Tayside & Fife, Grampian, and further south in Scotland, including Edinburgh and Glasgow.
