Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday highlighted Rajasthan’s ongoing economic expansion and urged the global Rajasthani community to act as ambassadors for the state.
Speaking at the first Pravasi Rajasthani Divas in Jaipur, Goyal said that out of the ₹35 lakh crore worth of MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan summit, one-fourth have already moved into the implementation stage. “Over 1 crore Rajasthani expatriates live worldwide. If each contributes, Rajasthan can emerge as the country’s top-performing state,” he said.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and marks a major step in the state’s engagement with its overseas community. Senior industrialists from India and abroad are attending the gathering, where the Rajasthan government is set to sign MoUs
