Lucas Cione scored a hat trick and added two assists as Middletown South defeated Red Bank Regional-Jackson Township 8-3 at the Red Bank Armory.

Cione increased his team-leading total to eight goals to help the Eagles improve to 3-0.

Dante Deluca and Timothy Gorlenko each added a goal and three assists.

Corrado DiFiore scored one goal and assisted on the other two for Red Bank (1-2).
