Google has launched its AI Plus subscription plan in India, offering access to its advanced Gemini tools and cloud storage at Rs 399 per month, with a promotional rate of Rs 199 for the first six months. The move, announced on December 9, positions the tech giant to compete directly with OpenAI's similarly priced ChatGPT Go plan in one of the world's fastest-growing AI markets.

Targeting India's Booming AI Market

The AI Plus plan provides subscribers with enhanced access to Gemini 3 Pro, described by Google as its most intelligent model yet, along with Nano Banana Pro for image generation and editing. Users also gain access to video generation tools, creative applications like Flow, and Gemini integration directly within Gmail and Google Docs.

The subscription includes 200 GB of storage
